How do I book a session?
Booking a session is easy-peasy! Email me at info@elisabethnixonphotography.com or give me a call at 407.739.6688 and let’s talk schedules – yours and mine. As soon as I receive your deposit you are officially “booked” and I’ll confirm that I received your deposit and then later call to confirm your session date with you a couple days before we meet.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Typically, no. However I will add a maternity mini session on to packages by request. Contact me for pricing.
What is the best way to pay for my deposit or session fee?
For your deposit you can send a check in the mail (or drop it off in person) or I can send you an invoice for you to pay with a credit card through Google. For the session fee you can do the same or I can accept a credit card payment at your session over my phone. (technology is so cool!)
How long until I get to see my pictures?
Roughly 2 weeks, sometimes less! Look for an email from me saying something along the lines of “It’s time!” or “Your images are ready to view” or…..”Heck yeah! Look here!!”
When will I get the DVD of images?
As soon as the images are finished and you have seen them I will order your DVD and custom case. It takes about 1 week for me to get this and then we can either meet in person for delivery, you can pick it up from me or I can mail it to you.
Can I use the print credit on an album?
No, print credits are to be used for prints only (both desk prints, wall prints & canvases). Not applicable to custom products (albums, card art or mini accordion albums).
What if the weather is bad/someone gets sick on our session day?
As your session date approaches I will be monitering the weather closely. If there’s a good chance of rain or other bad weather (super cloudy/dark, very windy) and I feel like it’s not worth making you and your family come out and not be able to do the session, I will get in touch with you to reschedule. There’s nothing worse than getting your kids all ready and finally getting yourself completely ready – only to drive to your session and find out that the weather isn’t cooperating. I won’t make you go through all of that if I’m concerned about it.
If you have a sick family member please let me know – I can always reschedule for sickness! Pictures of a sick baby or child (or even a sick mama!) are not what you want to look at in 15 years. Also, if I am sick, I will of course let you know and reschedule. I have no interest in passing my family’s germs to your family – especially when we’re talking about brand new babies!
Where are you located?
I am in Sanford, FL. The majority of my maternity and family sessions take place somewhere near Sanford – we have an awesome historic downtown that I use every chance I get.One big reason I love to shoot here is because this is where I live and I know my town really well. I know where all of the alleys, walls, empty lots, parks….any sort of location you might want.
Does this mean I won’t travel to you? Absolutely not! I love meeting clients in new places – especially places that are special to you and your family. If you are a beach family and it’s where you belong….then that’s where we should do your session!
Newborn sessions are completely different! I come to your home and the session takes place where you are most comfortable. You don’t even have to get completely “made up” if you don’t feel like it – I surely don’t care!
Can we have our session ANYWHERE?
Sure! There might be a travel fee depending on how FAR away “anywhere” is, but yes, I love to travel and you can have your session anywhere.
How many images will I get on the DVD?
There will be a minimum of 20 images from your session in color. All images will come to you on the DVD in both color and black and white.
I have friends who want to book a session with you, how do I refer them to you?
Aaaaaaawe-soome! Thank you!It’s really simple – send them to my website or Facebook page and tell them to get in touch with me. Make sure to tell them to let me know that you referred them because both of you will get a little ‘something’ from me as a thank you.
